We would like to invite you to the meeting with Jerzy Illg, an editor-in-chief of the “Znak” Social Publishing Institute. The discussion will be managed by Dariusz Bugajski from the Polish Radio Three.
– For me, at the time when I had a chance to meet him, he was one of the 3 maybe 5 best living directors in the world, said Jerzy Illg on the Polish Radio Three about Tarkovsky.
– He made 7 films within his lifetime, he lived 54 years. His life in Russia was very troubled. And he himself was looking for trouble due to his independent nature and courage to implement his artistic visions, admitted Jerzy Illg.
After the meeting we would like to invite you to the screening of “Andrei Rublev” (1966) directed by Andrei Tarkovsky.
This event is part of the “Puls Literatury” Festival.
